A recent report graded all 50 states on the risk of corruption, based on their laws, enforcement, and political culture. Not a single state scored higher than a “C” and 11 states received an “F” grade. Here we show those grades paired with key elections spending data: the cost of recent elections, the portion of money from big donors, and how much winners are outspending losers in state elections.
